Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you want a compact auger setup that is shorter than 16 inches?
Nama lists the J3 at 15.4 inches high and 8.9 inches wide; allow extra room for hopper loading and container access.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a separate smoothie strainer while keeping the product in the juicer category?
Nama lists a juice strainer and a separate smoothie strainer. This option is not a blender, and the product has no blender jug.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the exact included receiver hold at least 24 fl oz?
Nama lists a juice container but does not give its capacity; its yield statements conflict and are not receiver volume.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you require the specific J2 XL large pitcher kit and supplied sorbet attachment?
Those pieces appear in the J2 XL included package, not the J3 parts list.
Explore this need in the finder →Nama's J3 is the compact auger juicer in the current U.S. family. At 15.4 inches tall and 9.7 pounds with its chamber set, it is shorter and lighter on the maker's listed specifications than the J2; it also comes with a separate smoothie strainer. That makes the J3 an option for smaller counter spaces and smaller everyday routines, not a measured promise that it will juice a particular quantity per load.
Compact body, familiar auger routine
The exact U.S. page identifies the model as J3/SJ300 and lists White and Black Type A SKUs. Nama specifies 130 watts, 50 rpm, and the linked manual gives a 30-minute-or-less usage limit followed by a roughly five-minute cool-down after a full 30-minute session. The switch has ON/OFF/REV: Reverse is a manual jam-clearing step, not automatic reversing or variable speed. The J3 is a powered vertical auger, so it belongs in the masticating category, not in the centrifugal-basket group.
The included package lists a hopper, chamber, spinning brush, auger, juice container and lid, pulp container, juice strainer, smoothie strainer, pusher and cleaning brush. The second strainer is a change in juicing setup for a smoothie-like or soup preparation, as Nama's manual describes; it is not a blender attachment and does not turn the J3 into the C2. The exact page does not list the J2 XL's sorbet attachment, a large-pitcher kit, or a blender jar.
Do not mistake yield text for vessel size
The page specifies a juice container but does not state its capacity. The same page gives 10–15 ounces in its technical section and 8–12 ounces in its comparison content. Those statements don't reconcile into a receiver dimension; they're ingredient-dependent output estimates and should remain out of the matcher. If you require a supplied cup of at least 24 ounces, unknown is not enough. Likewise, the J3's smaller hopper is shown and described as a compact arrangement, but the maker gives no hopper capacity or feed-opening diameter. A compact label cannot answer a hard loading-volume or chute-width constraint.
The listed body measures 8.9 inches wide, 6.5 inches long and 15.4 inches high; Nama labels length separately rather than depth. Weight is 9.7 pounds with the chamber set. These named measurements are useful for a first counter-fit check, but leave working space above for the hopper, alongside for the separate juice/pulp containers, and room to remove the assembly for cleaning. The advertised smaller form is a real contrast with the C2's 20-inch juicer setup and 21-inch blender setup; it does not mean the J3 has a published lower cabinet clearance in every installed position.
Cleaning still takes hands-on work
The manual's care routine calls for disassembly, brushing and hand washing rather than a dishwasher or dryer. The small footprint may reduce the appliance's counter demand; it does not remove the work of rinsing the auger, chamber and selected strainer promptly. Keep the exact instruction sheet close when switching between juice and smoothie strainers so the right parts are used and reassembled. No dishwasher-safe exception is listed in the current U.S. manual.
Nama's page describes the machine as quiet and claims flavor/nutrition advantages for cold-pressing. Treat those as the manufacturer's statements, not independent noise, temperature, nutrient, extraction or durability measurements. Its specified one-speed motor and simple reverse control may be enough if your preference is an auger routine, but neither spec verifies how loud it will sound in a particular kitchen.
Who should choose J3?
J3 makes the most sense when a shorter machine, lower listed weight and included smoothie strainer matter more than a larger batch package or a separate blender. J2 is the full-size hopper model. J2 XL is the one with the explicitly bundled 100-ounce large pitcher set and sorbet attachment. C2 is the shared-base dual-function juicer/blender, with separate juicing and blending containers and operating limits. These differences change the answer to ordinary shopping questions more than the similar family names do.
Choose J3 if your needs fit its manual, the available counter height and the hand-cleaning routine. Do not choose it to meet an unstated receiver minimum, a large hopper volume, an automatic sensor, blender requirement, or sorbet requirement. Nama's U.S. page states a 15-year all-parts warranty; check the current written terms and seller eligibility rather than assuming that the marketing headline covers every sale. No independent testing or ownership experience is represented here.
