Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you want a centrifugal juicer and a blender on one shared base?
The BJB815 has separate juicing and blending configurations. You can collect juice in its 50 fl oz jug and then reconfigure the base to blend, but the two attachments do not run simultaneously.
Explore this need in the finder →Are ten selectable juicing speeds and a Green Smoothie preset essential?
The BJB815 Pro has a ten-setting speed dial and five blender presets, including Green Smoothie. The earlier BJB615 has five buttons and four presets.
Explore this need in the finder →Do the published 3.5-inch chute and 50 fl oz jug meet your minimums?
Breville lists a 3.5-inch feed chute and 50 fl oz blender jug. The jug can collect juice while the product is in juicing configuration; it is not a yield promise and the chute does not remove ingredient-prep rules.
Explore this need in the finder →The 3X Bluicer Pro is best understood as two appliances that share a motor base. In one configuration, a stainless-steel centrifugal basket extracts juice; in the other, a 50 fl oz blender jug handles smoothies, ice, and blended recipes. You can send juice into the jug and blend it afterward, but the manual's separate assembly instructions mean you switch the attachments rather than run the juicer and blender at the same time. That shared-base routine is the model's central advantage—and the main thing to accept before adding it to a crowded counter.
The exact U.S. configuration
Breville's U.S. product page identifies the brushed-stainless version as BJB815BSS1BUS1 and offers it as the 3X Bluicer Pro. The page lists a 3.5-inch feed chute, 50 fl oz blender/collection jug, 3.2 qt rear pulp bin, and 15.6 × 9.3 × 17.7-inch dimensions in width, depth, height order. Its instruction book is the BJB815 U.S./Canadian/Mexican edition, USC IB K26. The book rates the appliance at 120 V, 60 Hz, 9.5 A maximum; Breville's page lists 1,100 W. These are maker-published electrical figures, not measured extraction or blending results.
For juicing, assemble the basket, filter bowl, cover, safety arm, and rear pulp container; follow the manual's produce-specific speed table and feed food only after the motor reaches the selected speed. The ten-setting dial spans a low juicing range for softer produce and a higher range for harder produce. Breville says the lower range can operate at significantly lower noise, but publishes no sound level. It is not a Quiet-labeled mode and should not be mistaken for a guarantee of silent use. The 3.5-inch measurement is useful for planning preparation, but it does not mean every fruit can be fed whole: the manual still directs users to wash, trim, peel, and pit ingredients where appropriate.

What the Pro adds to the original Bluicer
The discontinued BJB615 has the same listed body dimensions, 50 fl oz jug, 3.2 qt pulp bin, and 3.5-inch chute. It uses five speed buttons and four presets. The Pro moves to a ten-setting speed dial and five presets, adding a Green Smoothie program alongside Smoothie, Pulse/Ice Crush, Auto Clean, and Frozen Cocktail. The Pro also has the higher published electrical rating and is listed 2.21 pounds heavier. These differences matter most to someone who will use blender controls often or wants more steps for adjusting a juice run; the container and body-size numbers alone do not distinguish the two.
The blender jug has its own operating and care limits. The manual says to keep ingredients below the MAX line and not to process hot or boiling liquids. The five one-touch programs work only with the blender setup, not the juicer attachment. Auto Clean loosens residue in the blender jug; Breville explicitly says it does not clean the juicer. The product is compatible with the separate Vac Q, but that pump is not listed among the supplied Bluicer accessories. Do not count it as included when checking a particular offer.
Plan for the juicer parts after blending
Everyday ownership still includes a fine-mesh filter basket. The manual recommends brushing it thoroughly as soon as possible after juicing; dry pulp can clog the mesh and affect performance. Use the supplied brush carefully because the basket's cutting blades are sharp. The pulp container can be lined with a biodegradable bag, but the collector assembly and basket still need rinsing and washing. The manual calls all parts except the motor base and food pusher dishwasher-safe, with the jug on the bottom rack and the lid and inner measuring cup on the top. It cautions that repeated dishwasher use can shorten parts' life. “Auto Clean” therefore saves a step on the blender jar, not on the entire appliance.
The Pro suits a household that regularly alternates between fresh juice and blended drinks, values one storage footprint for both functions, and has room for a 17.7-inch-tall setup plus working clearance. It may be excessive if you only juice, or if changing configurations and cleaning the juicing assembly will make the machine less likely to be used. A dedicated BJE430 is shallower and supplies a 70 fl oz jug but does not blend. The BJS700 uses slow compression rather than the Bluicer's centrifugal disc and is a separate earlier-model option for a different extraction routine. Those dedicated machines may be a better match when a single juicing task matters more than shared functionality.
Bottom line
Choose the BJB815 when the blender is not an occasional extra but part of the same fresh-drink routine as juicing. Its specific advantages over the BJB615 are a ten-speed dial and Green Smoothie program; the core jug, chute, bin, and listed footprint are shared. It is not a compact single-purpose juicer, and its blender clean cycle does not replace prompt filter care. Before ordering, match the seller's model suffix to BJB815BSS1BUS1, check that both attachment sets are included, and leave room for the rear bin and vertical safety arm.
