Current U.S. finish codes are SS-4200-B (White) and SS-4250-B (Chrome); exact manufacturer-refurbished sale codes are SS-4200R-B and SS-4250R-B. Both current and refurb finish variants were marked available in Tribest structured data on 2026-10-23. The refurb page says the unit is like-new after inspection/reconditioning, gives a 15-year household warranty from purchase, and states final sale/no refunds or returns. Verify the chosen code and written terms before buying.

A useful fit for

Consider it if you will use the separate pasta/noodle attachments as well as the juice setup, and you accept produce preparation, screen changes and hand-cleaning.

The main tradeoff

The product page and manual conflict on speed, body dimensions and weight; juice-container capacity is unpublished, and the manual does not set a routine continuous-use/rest schedule. Those unknowns cannot meet hard fit, lifting, vessel or session requirements.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Will you use the included pasta/noodle configuration as well as the juice setup?

The manual lists an alternate homogenizing screen and fettuccini/spaghetti nozzles; they require a stopped, unplugged configuration change.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the machine document a continuous run interval of at least 20 minutes?

The manual warns that more than 30 minutes may cause overheating but does not set a guaranteed session/rest schedule; that caution cannot meet an essential minimum.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is a supplied juice container of at least 32 fl oz essential?

A container is listed, but no capacity is stated in the inspected exact page/manual, so this model cannot meet the hard minimum on current evidence.

Explore this need in the finder →
Does the body need to fit a published maximum height of 18 inches?

The product page and manual list conflicting dimensions, so neither is used to satisfy a hard height limit.

The Tribest SoloStar 4 is a horizontal, single-auger juicer with a useful twist: the manual also describes a second homogenizing screen and separate pasta nozzles. That makes it more than a one-screen juice extractor, but not a one-button multi-function machine. You have to stop, unplug and change the screen and nozzle to move from juice to noodles or other listed foods. The exact current U.S. offer comes in white SS-4200-B and chrome SS-4250-B; Tribest also lists matching manufacturer-refurbished R-code versions.

Two screens mean two different jobs

For juice, the manual shows a single auger, a juicing screen and a juicing nozzle. It lists a separate homogenizing screen, with fettuccini and spaghetti nozzles, for pasta; the same screen is described for rice cake, breadsticks and tofu. The exact current and refurbished pages both list those screens and nozzles in “What’s Included in the Box.” The page also shows optional vegetable-slicer and spiralizer attachments, which are not counted as included.

Stop and unplug before changing screens and fitting a nozzle. For juicing, feed small amounts, cut produce into shorter lengthwise pieces and use the plastic plunger. Never put utensils or fingers into the chute. Reverse is for a blockage, not a speed control; there is no user-selected RPM dial.

This layout may suit someone who will use the pasta nozzles alongside fresh juice. It is a worse fit if you want one simple juicing routine: the extra function takes storage, assembly changes and cleanup, and the alternate tasks cannot run at the same time as juice extraction.

Don't use the RPM or “more juice” language as a result

Tribest's current page lists 57 RPM and markets “40% more juice.” The English manual instead says the auger operates as slow as 47 RPM. Both are maker statements; neither is an independent output result, and the speed conflict is unresolved. If speed is an essential number, this model has no consistent documented value.

The manual specifies 120 volts, 60 Hz and 135 watts for the U.S. appliance. It identifies juice and pulp containers but provides no capacity for either, and a picture of a jar does not establish one. A strict minimum juice-vessel requirement should therefore rule it out unless you verify a separate compatible receiver that meets your need.

Manual's long-use warning is not a session rating

This manual sets no routine session limit or rest period. It warns that more than 30 minutes of straight use may overheat the motor; after automatic overheat/overload shutdown, switch off and cool for about 30 minutes. That is a warning and recovery instruction, not a guaranteed 30-minute session or normal rest interval. If your batch plan depends on a stated schedule, this manual leaves that requirement unanswered.

For a juice-only routine, the Greenstar 5 is a more explicit long-session alternative: its manual lists up to 40 minutes continuously followed by a 10-minute rest, but it uses a heavier horizontal twin-gear arrangement and a different loading/cleaning routine. Shine Easy is vertical, with a hopper and quick-feed flap; its manual lists a 20-minute session and a 10-minute rest. Those details answer schedule and feeding questions, not which one extracts more juice. No comparative yield or noise testing is claimed here.

Fit, cleanup and real offer terms

Published fit information conflicts: the product page lists 17 × 6.5 × 12.4 inches and 12 pounds; the manual gives 19 inches wide × 10 inches high × 8 inches deep and 15.5 pounds. Neither source is reliable for a tight shelf or lifting limit until the discrepancy is resolved. The manual lists the U.S. rating as 120 V, 60 Hz and 135 W.

Wash parts after use with lukewarm water and mild detergent, using the supplied brush on the screen. The manual warns against water above 104°F/40°C, bleach and harsh chemicals. It does not confirm dishwasher-safe parts; keep water off the motor body and rinse promptly so pulp does not dry in the screen.

On October 23, 2026, Tribest's structured U.S. product data showed white SS-4200-B and chrome SS-4250-B available. Its separate manufacturer-refurbished offer showed white SS-4200R-B and chrome SS-4250R-B available. The refurb description says the machine is like-new after technician inspection and reconditioning, carries a full 15-year household warranty from purchase, and is final sale with no refunds or returns. Those are the seller's offer terms, not an individual condition report; verify the chosen finish and written terms before buying. The standard image depicts a white model, not the condition of a specific refurbished unit.

Who should shortlist the SoloStar 4?

It is worth comparing if a manual-supported pasta/noodle setup is genuinely useful alongside auger-pressed juice, and you accept produce preparation, configuration changes and hand-cleaning. It should not receive a positive hard-fit match on the conflicting published dimensions, a hard lifting match on the conflicting weight, a strict juice-capacity match on an unpublished container size, or a minimum-session match from the overheating caution. Those are not minor omissions if they control your purchase.

Compare the Greenstar 5 for its explicit 40-minute session schedule and twin gears, the Shine Easy for a vertical hopper/quick-feed layout, and the Slowstar AI for sensor-led presets and a documented 15-minute session. The exact SoloStar assessment is based on Tribest's current product page, refurbished offer, and linked SoloStar 4 manual. No hands-on yield, noise, cleaning-time, durability or refurbished-condition test is claimed.
