U.S. page maps Gun Metal (EVO820GM), Black (EVO820PB), Champagne Gold (EVO820CG) and Rose Gold (EVO820RG); no functional difference by finish is stated. Manufacturer lists a juice cup and pulp cup without capacities; dimensions are preserved in listed sequence, with no axes assigned.

A useful fit for

Consider EVO820 if the two-way flip gate, including its narrower locked position for leafy greens, suits your feeding routine and you want smoothie and sorbet strainers included. The exact package also includes a cup-top pulp strainer.

The main tradeoff

EVO820 does not have the separate Auto-Cut chute for long carrot/celery stalks that distinguishes REVO830, and it does not include C7000’s small-item hopper/funnel. Receiver capacity, dimension axes, strict run/rest interval and exact U.S. manual text are not published in the inspected sources.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Do you need a powered masticating juicer rather than a centrifugal basket?

Kuvings lists EVO820 as a low-speed masticating Whole Slow Juicer with a powered auger and juicing strainer.

Is a two-way flip-gate opening essential for whole produce and a narrower greens guide?

The 3.2-inch EVO820 gate opens for larger items and locks to make a narrower feed guide; this differs from the B6000/C7000 safety fin.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must a smoothie strainer be included in the exact package?

The EVO820 package lists both smoothie and blank/sorbet strainers; B6000/C7000 list only the blank/sorbet strainer.

The EVO820 is the point in Kuvings’ Whole Slow Juicer line where the feed routine changes. Instead of the B6000/C7000 safety-fin opening, it uses a 3.2-inch two-way flip gate: the gate drops larger items into the juicer and can be locked to make a narrower guide for leafy greens. The maker’s FAQ says an apple can be dropped through this opening without the pusher, unlike the classic models. That is the strongest reason to choose the EVO820; the included smoothie and sorbet strainers then broaden its use beyond juice without buying either of those particular attachments separately.

Flip gate versus safety fin

The two-way gate is not a larger version of the B6000 opening alone. Its locking position creates a narrower feed path for greens, while the open gate gives a 3.2-inch mouth for whole ingredients. This layout is useful if you switch between chunks of fruit and leafy ingredients during a recipe. It also removes the B6000/C7000 safety-fin step for whole apples according to Kuvings’ own FAQ. A pusher is still included in the EVO820 box, so having one available is not evidence that the chute requires it for every ingredient. The product page describes a conventional powered, vertical masticating juicer; the 240-watt motor is listed at 60 rpm. Those specifications do not predict a particular juice yield or processing duration.

More included strainers, with a pulp cup filter too

The official package list names the juicing topset, pusher, smoothie strainer, blank/sorbet strainer, juice and pulp cups, pulp strainer, cleaning tools, lid opener, manual, and recipe book. The smoothie strainer is the key difference from both B6000 and C7000, where it is a separate purchase. The blank strainer gives the maker-described frozen-fruit sorbet use; it is not the same part as the smoothie strainer. EVO820 also includes a pulp strainer for a final pass over the cup. A juice receiver and pulp cup are supplied but their volumes are not stated, so this is not a fit for anyone who requires a documented pitcher size or a minimum output per batch. Its citrus attachment is sold separately.

Where it sits between C7000 and REVO830

C7000’s practical extras are its small-item hopper and included pulp strainer, but it keeps a safety-fin chute and does not include a smoothie filter. EVO820 replaces that chute style with the flip gate, includes the smoothie filter, and keeps a pulp strainer in the listed package. REVO830 keeps the flip gate, widens the main opening to 3.5 inches, and adds a dedicated 1.75-inch Auto-Cut chute for long ingredients such as carrots and celery. If celery sticks dominate your routine, the REVO830 feature is more specific than simply moving to a slightly wider opening. If you want the flip gate and smoothie strainer but do not need Auto-Cut, the EVO820 has the more direct evidence match.

Counter fit, cleaning, and ownership

Kuvings lists dimensions in the order 8 × 9.5 × 18 inches and weight of 16 pounds, without labeling the dimension axes in the product spec. Measure the full assembly, including the height needed to open the gate and load food, instead of assuming the last figure is a verified under-cabinet clearance. The U.S. package includes the brush, cleaning tool, and lid opener. Kuvings’ public cleaning guidance directs hand washing food-contact parts with soap and water; it does not grant dishwasher permission. The manufacturer’s assembly page has an EVO820-specific section, but for detailed setup, produce preparation, and maintenance, follow the exact paper manual that comes with the U.S. package. That booklet is listed as included; it was not available as a public U.S. PDF in the sources checked for this review.

Finish choices and practical limits

The current U.S. listing offers Gun Metal (EVO820GM), Platinum Black (EVO820PB), Champagne Gold (EVO820CG), and Rose Gold (EVO820RG). The page provides no functional difference between these finishes, so they share one review. Kuvings lists 110–120 V, 60 Hz and 240 W, 60 rpm, a 10-year limited warranty, and materials including ULTEM, Tritan, ABS, polycarbonate, and stainless steel STS304. The warranty page limits its promise to normal intended household use and authorized sellers; check the written terms for a particular purchase. Exact receiver volume, numeric strict run limit, axis-labeled dimensions, and a full U.S. owner-manual text remain unknown. Those omissions matter more than the manufacturer’s broad “all-in-one” language if your must-have is measurable capacity or clearance.

Who should compare it?

The EVO820 is a plausible match for a home juicer who wants the flip-gate loading style, an included smoothie attachment, and a sorbet blank without requiring the REVO830’s long-produce Auto-Cut channel. It is less compelling if a pulp strainer or small-item hopper is your main need, because C7000 already supplies both; it is not the answer to a strict vessel-size requirement because the cups are unmeasured in the published package. If you are comparing it to a centrifugal machine, remember that the EVO820 is a slow masticating auger with assembly and hand-cleaning duties, not a quick-spinning basket. No test or customer experience is represented as firsthand here. Check the exact color SKU, package, and written manual with the seller before ordering.
