Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you need a powered centrifugal produce extractor rather than a slow auger or citrus-only press?
The exact 67735J page and linked Type CJ14 guide identify a powered mesh-basket produce extractor; this is not a citrus cone or slow auger.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a maker-listed three-inch chute a useful minimum for your produce prep?
The exact page lists a three-inch opening; a stricter 3.1-inch minimum is not met, and the manual still requires peeling or pitting some foods.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you require the two-speed OFF/LO/HI control, or will a single on/off setting do?
The 67735J page lists a dual-speed motor and its linked guide labels the switch OFF/LO/HI; it does not document variable speed or a quiet setting.
Explore this need in the finder →Must a juice cup or pitcher be included, or can you bring a separate glass?
The 67735J page and linked manual do not establish cup inclusion or capacity for this exact code; a required supplied receiver therefore cannot be confirmed.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a documented 32-ounce juice pitcher essential, rather than the 80-ounce pulp-bin figure?
The manufacturer’s 80-ounce capacity is the external pulp bin, not juice-vessel capacity. A 32-ounce supplied juice receiver is not documented for the exact 67735J.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the exact listed body depth of 7.8 inches fit your measured counter limit?
The exact page lists a 7.8-inch body depth. It excludes the space needed for the side bin, a receiving glass and use.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need all removable parts to be cleared for a high-heat dishwasher SANI cycle?
The 840345600 guide warns against the SANI cycle and keeps the motor base out of the dishwasher; a SANI-required plan is not met.
Explore this need in the finder →The Hamilton Beach Easy Clean 67735J is a household centrifugal juicer for someone who wants a broad feed opening, separate High and Low settings, and a large side pulp container. Its maker lists an 80-ounce pulp-bin capacity and a body only 7.8 inches deep, but does not publish a juice pitcher capacity or clearly confirm a supplied cup for this exact code. The useful decision is therefore not simply “large bin”: check the operating controls you need, the receiver you will put under the spout, and the room needed around the body.
Keep the exact code with the manual
The current U.S. listing identifies 67735J and links guide 840345600. Its rating panel identifies base model 67735, Type CJ14, at 120 V, 60 Hz and 800 W; the exact J page also lists 800 watts and two speeds. That is an electrical rating, not measured juice yield or basket speed.
Separate exact pages for 67735, 67735F and 67735FG link the same guide and repeat the core features and dimensions. F and FG are marked “No Longer Available”; the base code has no clear offer status. No finish or package difference is inferred from the suffixes. The current manufacturer purchase path checked here is for 67735J.
Two speeds help assign a routine, not promise a better yield
The selector is OFF/LO/HI. The manual assigns firmer foods such as apples, carrots, beets and cucumbers to HI, and soft fruit and leafy greens to LO. Choose the maker’s broad setting and feed gradually with the pusher. This is not a slow, quiet or variable-speed machine; the maker publishes no noise, extraction-percentage or ordinary run-time measurement.
A three-inch opening reduces cutting only for produce that fits. The manual says to wash foods, peel some fruit where skins affect flavor, pit stone fruit and use the pusher, never fingers. The Professional 67906 has a wider 3.5-inch opening, but also a much larger body.
Do not confuse pulp capacity with a juice pitcher
The 80-ounce figure is the external pulp bin’s capacity, not the juice a batch yields. The manual calls a juice cup an item for “select models,” and the exact J page gives no cup size or clear box list. A glass in the product image is not proof of an included receiver. Keep inclusion and capacity unknown unless your exact offer confirms them; plan to provide a glass.
Body dimensions are 14.4 inches high by 11.5 wide by 7.8 deep. Leave room above for the pusher and beside the unit for the bin, glass and cleanup. The 67702 lists the same body size but has one on/off setting; its FAQ says no cup is supplied. The 67735J’s distinguishing controls are HI/LO, not a different footprint.
“Easy Clean” still means prompt mesh care
The exact page promotes the patented Easy Sweep tool, but the shared guide says it comes with select models without naming every suffix. Confirm it in a used package. The guide allows dishwasher washing of removable parts but forbids SANI and the motor base; prompt two-sided brushing helps prevent dried pulp from clogging the mesh. The basket’s center blades are sharp, so inspect it and do not use a damaged basket.
If overheating protection stops the motor, unplug and cool it for 15 minutes. That is recovery guidance, not a normal batch rest interval. The exact page lists a three-year limited warranty; the U.S. manual says it runs from original purchase.
Who should shortlist it?
Shortlist the 67735J if you want a three-inch chute, High/Low control and 80-ounce pulp collector and can use a separate glass unless the offer proves a cup is included. Skip it if a large supplied pitcher, verified quiet setting or auger-style extraction is essential, or if prompt mesh care does not suit you. The wide opening does not remove all peeling, pitting or cleanup.
The Professional 67906 supplies a documented 34-ounce lidded pitcher, 3.5-inch chute and HI/LO control, but reaches 16.7 inches deep and 17.2 high. The single-switch 67702 is shallower but has no supplied cup. Choose by exact code and package rather than the shared centrifugal format.
