Hurom model comparison
Hurom Celery & Greens Horizontal vs the HP, HO, and HT
Hurom comparison · horizontal vs. vertical auger
The Celery & Greens Horizontal, HP, HO and HT all use a slow screw-press approach, but they are not the same chamber-and-accessory package turned on its side. The horizontal GI has a documented mincing strainer and a fine juice strainer; the classic vertical trio is built around a compact hopper, lever and fine/coarse screen choice. Pick the workflow you will use, then keep the manual for the exact model beside the offer.
Start with the individual reviews for the Celery & Greens Horizontal, HP, HO and HT. These are manufacturer-document comparisons, not controlled performance tests.
Choose a screen and secondary-use setup
The horizontal GI’s U.S. page identifies one fine juicing strainer and a separate mincing strainer. Its maker describes celery, greens, wheatgrass, beets and ginger as target ingredients, and its manual diagrams a mincing stem and noodle process. The exact box list does not name noodle dies, however, so ask whether those nozzles are included in the specific sale package. Mincing is a second attachment setup, not simultaneous juicing or a blender function.
For the classic vertical models, the HP, HO and HT pages and their manuals name fine and coarse strainers. Hurom describes the fine screen as a cleaner-juice route and the coarse screen as thicker; neither is a measured texture or yield result. The manuals also show the vertical assembly and control lever. If an included coarse screen or a numeric internal-chamber figure matters, the GI’s page does not establish either. The HP page lists a 350 ml internal chamber, while HO and HT list 500 ml. These are working chamber capacities—not pitcher size, output per batch or juice yield.
Match your ingredients to preparation, not a slogan
The GI listing gives a 50 mm opening and its manual illustrates using the pusher in small feeding steps. It is suitable on paper for a repeated greens/wheatgrass routine, but that does not mean whole stalks or roots go through without preparation. The vertical trio also has a 50 mm class opening; their manuals give model-specific preparation and assembly directions. If you buy primarily for wheatgrass, the GI page expressly names it. If pomegranate is the must-have ingredient, do not transfer another maker’s recipe or a generic slow-juicer claim: the exact GI listing does not establish it.
Use session boundaries that belong to each manual
The GI U.S. page says up to 20 minutes continuously, and a HUROM GI manual copy mirrored on ManualsLib states less than 20. Its official directly linked PDF is a different GI manual version with 230–240 V / 50 Hz and 64 RPM instead of the U.S. listing’s 120 V / 60 Hz and 77 RPM. Confirm the exact machine nameplate and matching manual before operation; do not use that regional PDF for a U.S. electrical decision. Until then, keep GI sessions under 20 minutes. The HP manual likewise sets a 20-minute maximum, with a five-minute interval. HO and HT manuals allow up to 30 minutes and about five minutes cooling. A hard uninterrupted-session need changes which vertical model fits; it should not be inferred from the brand or motor wattage.
Counter clearance and cleanup remain real tradeoffs
The GI page prints 309.8 × 160 × 365.7 mm without labeling width, depth and height; the 120 V GI manual copy gives 319 × 161 × 367 mm and 4.7 kg. Because the values conflict, the GI should not pass a strict width, height or weight limit on these sources alone. The HP also has page/manual height and weight differences. HO’s dimensions are better aligned between its listed page and manual; HT’s width differs. Before buying for a cutout or shelf, measure the exact unit and include room for its hopper, cord, containers, feeding and washing.
These four are not dishwasher-easy picks. Their model-specific instructions favor hand cleaning and keeping the motor body dry; the GI manual explicitly warns against dishwasher/dryer use. A shopper who wants to vary pulp texture has a clearer documented setup with HP, HO or HT. Someone who wants an included mincing attachment and has a greens-heavy routine may prefer the horizontal GI if the correct U.S. manual and refurb/new offer terms are verified. None of these documents establishes measured yield, noise, cleanup minutes or a durability ranking.

For GI, the U.S. page/support directory directly links GI version 4DB010079_V.01, whose voltage and speed differ from the U.S. listing; the 120 V / 77 RPM GI version 4DB010093_V.01 is available as a Hurom-authored ManualsLib mirror.
