Hurom HP Slow Juicer review

A compact vertical auger juicer with one 43 RPM speed, fine/coarse screens and a 350 ml internal working chamber. The exact manual limits continuous operation to 20 minutes, shorter than the current page’s 30-minute summary.

A useful fit for

Consider the exact U.S. HP if smaller counter dimensions and a 350 ml internal chamber fit a modest serving routine, and you accept careful produce preparation, hand cleanup and the manual’s 20-minute continuous-use limit.

The main tradeoff

Both mapped U.S. HP finish SKUs were shown sold out. The manual and current page disagree on continuous-use time, body height and weight; use the exact manual’s lower time limit and do not rely on a hard height or lifting threshold. Juice and pulp receiver volumes and dessert-screen inclusion are not confirmed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Would a smaller 350 ml working chamber fit your routine?

Hurom lists 350 ml / 11.8 fl oz for the HP’s internal chamber; it is not the unmeasured juice container.

Can a single 43 RPM auger with two screen choices meet your needs?

The U.S. page and HP Series manual list fine and coarse screens; they do not establish a quantified pulp result.

Is the HP manual’s 20-minute maximum continuous interval sufficient?

The exact HP manual allows no more than 20 minutes continuously, despite a 30-minute statement on the current page.

Hurom · compact vertical slow juicer

The HP is the smaller-chamber member of this Hurom group: its U.S. product page lists a 350 ml internal chamber, fine and coarse screens, and a 43 RPM auger. The more consequential caution is the manual: it limits continuous operation to 20 minutes, even though the current page says up to 30. The Pink and White U.S. SKUs were both sold out when checked on October 24, 2026.

Two mapped finishes, not four assumed versions

Hurom’s U.S. product-data object maps Pink HP-PPB12 and White HP-WWB12, both unavailable at the time checked. The gallery also displays Mint and Sandy Gold imagery, but those pictures are not assigned to finish SKUs by the product object. I would not use them to expand the model’s current variant list. The official Pink image shown here matches HP-PPB12; Hurom does not say whether the studio image is a photograph or render.

Compact does not mean whole-fruit feeding

The HP is a vertical, single-auger, mains-powered machine. Hurom lists 150 watts, 120 V / 60 Hz, a 43 RPM auger and a 50 mm (about 2-inch) opening. That opening is still a feed tube, not evidence that whole apples or other produce will fit. The HP Series manual says to remove hard pits and seeds, cut long fibrous vegetables such as celery into short pieces, lock the hopper and use the supplied pusher. A shopper who wants to drop large produce in without prep should look at a larger-opening model, while still following that model’s preparation rules.

Inside the box, the page and manual identify fine and coarse strainers, an auger, spinning brush and separate juice and pulp containers. The fine screen is the maker’s route for cleaner juice; the coarse screen permits a thicker, pulp-containing result. Neither is a measured texture guarantee. The listed 350 ml (11.8 fl oz) is the internal working chamber, not the included receiver. Hurom does not publish receiver capacities, so a hard requirement for a 24- or 32-ounce pitcher is not established by the chamber figure.

Follow the manual’s shorter time limit

The exact HP manual says not to run continuously for more than 20 minutes and directs a five-minute interval before using it again. That is more restrictive than the current product page’s “up to 30 minutes continuously” line; use the model-specific manual rather than treating the longer marketing-page figure as permission. A requirement for a 25- or 30-minute uninterrupted session therefore does not fit the documented HP setup.

Hurom describes the complete removable assembly as hand-cleaned. Its general FAQ says only the auger screw is dishwasher-safe, but the HP Series manual specifically says not to put the appliance into a dishwasher or dryer. For routine planning, count on prompt rinsing, disassembly and hand washing rather than a dishwasher cycle. The manual also recommends drinking extracted juice soon after making it; it does not establish a model-specific refrigerated storage period.

Measurements and accessories that need care

The product page lists dimensions of 192 × 176 × 394 mm and body weight of 4.3 kg. The HP manual labels the first two axes as width 192 mm and length 176 mm, but gives 399 mm for height and about 4.4 kg for weight. Width and depth align; height and weight do not. The fact record leaves those disputed limits out of hard counter-fit or lifting matches. Measure the actual unit and check clearance if an exact cabinet gap or carry weight matters.

The page’s general HP description mentions sorbets, yet its exact box list and manual do not establish an included ice-cream strainer. The product page lists an internal chamber and the two juice screens, not a named dessert attachment. Choose another documented package if a supplied frozen-fruit screen is essential; an interchangeable part from another Hurom should not be assumed compatible.

Who should keep the HP in view?

The HP makes the most sense for someone who wants a relatively compact vertical auger juicer, a smaller 350 ml chamber, a fine/coarse screen choice and the discipline to prep produce and wash parts by hand. The larger HO and HT use a 500 ml chamber and add a manually operated control lever, but their body dimensions and listing details differ. If the smaller working chamber is not useful, compare those larger models rather than equating “Personal” with easier daily cleanup. Hurom’s current HP page showed Sold Out for the mapped finishes, so the exact model search below is not a stock claim. No yield, pulp percentage, sound level, durability or cleaning-time test is represented here.
