Hamilton Beach model comparison
Hamilton Beach 67735J vs 67702 vs Professional 67906
Hamilton Beach’s Easy Clean 67735J, Big Mouth 67702 and Professional 67906 all use a centrifugal mesh basket, but they are not the same configuration. The 67735J and 67702 share listed body dimensions and 800-watt ratings, yet their speed controls and receiver evidence differ. The Professional 67906 changes the opening, pitcher and footprint. Choose the detail that solves a real kitchen constraint rather than assuming the larger watt number predicts more juice.
Three exact setups, three different tradeoffs
| Exact model | Control and opening | Collection evidence | Listed H × W × D |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy Clean 67735J | OFF/LO/HI; 3 in | 80 oz external pulp bin; supplied juice cup/capacity not established | 14.4 × 11.5 × 7.8 in |
| Big Mouth 67702 | Single ON/OFF; 3 in | External bin; maker FAQ says no cup is supplied | 14.4 × 11.5 × 7.8 in |
| Professional 67906 | HI/LO; 3.5 in Super Chute | 34 oz pitcher with lid and froth separator, plus side pulp bin | 17.2 × 9.5 × 16.7 in |
The body figures are the manufacturers’ listed dimensions; they do not include clearance for feeding, the side bin, a glass, the cord, or cleanup. Compare the order of the dimensions carefully. Both 67735J and 67702 list 7.8 inches of depth, but the 67702 is the single-switch machine. Similar measurements are not evidence of a shared manual or package: the 67735 pages link the CJ14 guide, while 67702 links a separate CJ24 guide.
When the 67735J makes sense
Its practical distinction is a familiar produce juicing routine with HI for the maker’s firmer-food examples and LO for softer produce and leafy greens, while its 80-ounce figure refers to the pulp bin. That large collector can reduce bin-emptying stops; it is not a large juice pitcher and is not an output estimate. The exact 67735J page shows a current manufacturer purchase path. The older 67735F and 67735FG pages repeat the same feature set but say “No Longer Available,” while the base 67735 page has no clear offer status. The 67735 manual says the cleaning tool is included only with select models, so confirm that accessory if considering a used package.
Choose by receiver, speed and counter—not marketing labels
Choose the 67702 if its single on/off control is enough and you prefer the shallower listed body; the exact manufacturer FAQ explicitly says its cup is not included, so place your own glass under the outlet. Choose the 67735J if High/Low adjustment is useful and you can supply a receiver unless the exact offer confirms one. The product image of a glass is not a box-content statement. Neither product page documents measured extraction yield or a quiet mode.
Step up to the 67906 only if its details justify the added counter depth: it has a wider 3.5-inch opening, two speeds and a stated 34-ounce pitcher with a lid and froth separator. Its 16.7-inch depth and 17.2-inch height need more room than either smaller body, and the larger watt rating is not evidence of better yield. Confirm your cabinet height, counter depth and receiver needs before treating a wider chute as a benefit.
Shared care still takes attention
The manuals for these exact models describe a motor-driven stainless-steel micro-mesh basket. A broad chute shortens some prep but does not remove peeling or pitting instructions for some produce. Start with prepared ingredients, feed gradually with the pusher, turn off and unplug before disassembly, and brush the basket promptly so pulp does not dry into its fine openings. Removable parts are described as dishwasher-safe, but the guides prohibit the SANI cycle and washing the motor base. The 67735 guide’s 15-minute cooling interval applies after its overload protection stops the motor; it is not a normal continuous-run specification.
These comparisons rely on exact maker pages and manuals, not measured kitchen tests. The 67735J review explains its two-speed routine and unknown cup inclusion; the 67702 review covers the no-cup single-speed version; and the 67906 review covers the larger Super Chute arrangement.
