Tribest Greenstar Pro review

Current U.S. household horizontal all-stainless twin-gear juicer with a 1.6-inch listed opening, 30-minute stated run interval and breadstick/processing parts; the gray P502 alone is identified as commercially certified.

Sources checked 2026-10-23 · Our editorial approach

The current U.S. product page lists GS-P501-B White and GS-P502-B Gray, marks both base variants available and states a 15-year household-use warranty; it identifies only the gray P502 as commercial-certified. Separate refurbished variants use GS-P501R-B and GS-P502R-B; their structured codes omit -B, both were unavailable at the check, and their inspection/final-sale terms apply only to those R-code offers. The current page title contains “Commercial,” but its household warranty and active consumer listing do not support a commercial-only exclusion.

A useful fit for

Consider the current Pro when a 1.6-inch listed opening, included breadstick/processing parts and a 15-year household warranty fit your plan; choose the exact white or gray base code.

The main tradeoff

Page and manual disagree on wattage, weight and dimensions, so keep hard fit and power unknown. The distinct refurb R-code sale was unavailable at the documented check.

The Tribest Greenstar Pro is a 1.6-inch, 110-rpm horizontal twin-gear machine with all-stainless jumbo gears, fine/coarse screens and both open and closed processing blanks. Its current U.S. base models GS-P501-B (white) and GS-P502-B (gray) are listed with a 15-year household-use warranty; only the gray P502 is identified as commercially certified. Separate refurbished R-code offers were both unavailable at the October 23, 2026 check, so their inspection, final-sale and stock terms should not be confused with the current base-model offer.

What the Pro adds, and what “commercial” does not establish

Tribest describes the current Greenstar Pro as a horizontal slow masticating juicer powered by jumbo twin gears. Its U.S. product page lists GS-P501-B in white and GS-P502-B in gray, a 1.6-inch chute, 110 rpm, 120 V/60 Hz/200 W, 27 pounds and a 15-year household warranty. The page calls gray GS-P502 commercially certified; it does not say that the white P501 carries that certification. This is a household-use product in the maker’s own warranty terms, not proof that either version is appropriate for continuous commercial service.

The separate refurb page names GS-P501R-B and GS-P502R-B, while its structured variant data omit the final -B and list GS-P501R and GS-P502R. The current base-model page drops the refurb R and lists GS-P501-B/GS-P502-B. Both exact refurbished variants were unavailable in their structured listing on October 23, 2026; keep their condition and final-sale terms separate from an available base-code machine. The Pro manual covers the GS-P501/GS-P502 mechanism, safety hood and screen choices.

Separate the advertised differences from the measured ones

The Pro’s fine screen is described for juice with less pulp, the coarse screen for juice with some pulp, and the open homogenizing screen for food processing. The closed breadstick screen and breadstick knob shape firmer mixtures as they exit. The exact refurb package lists the open and closed blanks, breadstick knob, pitcher, drip tray, tampers, scraper set and cleaning brush. It does not list the optional pasta-maker set; the manual discusses that as an add-on, so do not count it as supplied.

The manual lists roots, leafy greens, wheatgrass, celery, citrus and other produce but requires the operator to vary the knob and prep. Carrots are split lengthwise when thick and fed one at a time; greens are rolled, and the knob is loosened if the feed backs up. The manual warns that very soft fruits such as strawberries and bananas do not pass the screen well. These are setup directions, not evidence of a quantified yield advantage. Tribest’s claims about juice quantity, storage, enzymes and minerals are marketing statements; I did not find an independent controlled test that establishes a consumer-specific advantage from this exact refurb configuration.

Cleaning and session limits are real tradeoffs

Tribest says to stop after each 30 minutes of continuous operation and rest the motor for 10 minutes. That is shorter than the Greenstar 5’s stated 40-minute session. The Pro is also listed at 27 pounds, so it is better treated as a countertop appliance than a machine you plan to move frequently. There is a source discrepancy here: the linked English manual’s standard-information page gives 26.6 pounds, 165 W and a 18.25 × 12.50 × 6.88-inch size, while the current product page lists 27 pounds, 200 W and 18.6 × 6.8 × 12.4 inches. The manual does not label the dimension order in the same way. Do not use either source alone for a hard counter-fit, lifting or wattage decision; request a measurement from the actual variant.

The manual says removable parts are dishwasher-safe except the safety hood, and separately warns not to let water enter the main body. It recommends taking the juicing section apart promptly after use because pulp can dry in the fine screen and mineral deposits can accumulate. The included scraper and brush help with that work, but they do not make the cleanup effortless. The machine flexes under pressure and the manual describes several clicking, chirping or squeaking sounds as normal; that is not a decibel rating or a guarantee that every individual unit will sound the same.

Refurbishment makes the purchase terms unusually important

The manufacturer describes refurbished units as like-new after a technician multi-point inspection and reconditioning. Its separate refurb page gives a 15-year household-use warranty and makes those refurbished sales final, with no refund or return; at the check date, both R-coded variants were unavailable. The current GS-P501-B/GS-P502-B page also states a 15-year household warranty and listed both base variants available. These are distinct offers even though they use the same core machine and warranty length. A third-party listing does not inherit Tribest’s refurb inspection statement or written warranty automatically.

The official gray product image in this review depicts the GS-P502-B base finish rather than an individually inspected refurbished serial unit. Tribest does not identify the image as a photo or render. If you are looking at a seller’s actual refurbished unit, request current condition photos and confirm the model suffix and included parts.

Alternatives inside the Greenstar line

Consider the Pro if you want a current U.S. base-code offer with an included breadstick/food-processing setup, 1.6-inch opening and a 15-year household warranty; the exact gray P502 is the only finish here identified as commercially certified. The Greenstar 5 has a longer stated uninterrupted session and dishwasher-safe removable parts, but its page/manual weight conflict remains. The Elite has a narrower chute and 12-year warranty; the Gold includes the pasta kit absent from the Pro box; the Original is more basic. None should be selected on claimed yield alone. See the current Pro product page, its separate refurbished page and the Pro manual. This is source-based research, not hands-on or commercial-duty testing.
