A useful fit for

A fit for a citrus-only routine when a pressure-started electric reamer, a direct-to-glass anti-drip outlet, a plastic body, Tritan Renew components and one of seven glossy colors suit the counter.

The main tradeoff

It still requires halving citrus, has no feed chute, selectable pulp or included lidded receiver, and the manual gives no numeric continuous-run interval. The removable spout is washed separately under running water, so full-assembly dishwasher approval is not established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Are you pressing only halved citrus rather than feeding whole produce?

This is a pressure-started citrus cone. It has no feed chute for apples, carrots or greens.

Do you want juice to flow directly into your own glass through an integrated anti-drip outlet?

The exact family page identifies a stainless-steel spout; a glass is supplied by the user and no lidded carafe is listed.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must the unit fit under an 11-inch height limit?

The manufacturer lists an 11-inch appliance height. Leave additional room for hands and vessel placement; do not assume zero clearance.

Explore this need in the finder →
Are all removable juicing parts required to be dishwasher-approved?

The manual names the cone, cover/lid, strainer and collector as dishwasher-safe. CJF11 separately directs the removable spout to be washed under running water, so an all-parts dishwasher requirement is not confirmed for CJF11.

Do you require a documented minimum uninterrupted run interval?

The manual warns against prolonged operation and says to allow cooling, but provides no numeric continuous-use interval. A required minimum cannot be confirmed.

The SMEG CJF11 is a powered citrus cone for a narrow, clear job: juice halved citrus directly into a glass, then rinse the removable pieces. Its difference from the older-looking CJF01 is not a second extraction style or a faster juicing promise. The U.S. listings keep the stainless-steel reamer, filter and anti-drip outlet, while changing the body to plastic and the cover and juice collector to Tritan Renew. Choose this model for that package and a color that suits your counter, not for an unverified output claim.

Seven exact color codes share the CJF11 setup

The current U.S. family pages list CJF11BLUS (black), CJF11CRUS (cream), CJF11PBUS (pastel blue), CJF11PGUS (pastel green), CJF11PKUS (pink), CJF11RDUS (red) and CJF11WHUS (white). These are finish options within the CJF11 citrus-juicer family; the pages do not document a different reamer, filter or operating mode by color. The pictured red code is one exact variant, not a claim about the finish in every box. Confirm the complete code when ordering or replacing parts.

A pressure-started cone, not a whole-produce extractor

Cut a citrus fruit in half and place the CJF11 on a level, dry counter. Open the stainless anti-drip spout and put your own glass or other receiving vessel beneath it. With the fruit pressed onto the stainless cone, the motor starts automatically; lift the fruit to stop it and close the spout when finished. There is no supplied lidded carafe and no maker-listed capacity for the collector. The single universal reamer and stainless strainer do not turn this into a carrot, apple or greens juicer.

Press gently rather than forcing the fruit down. SMEG’s manual warns that hard pressure can bring bitter pith into the juice. The maker identifies automatic on/off under pressure, not a speed selector or pulp dial. If you want a named citrus-pulp level, a whole-produce feed chute, or a hand-operated lever with no appliance motor, this is the wrong configuration.

Material and electrical details

SMEG lists a 120 V, 60 Hz U.S. connection, 39-inch cord, 166 mm width (about 6.54 inches), 7.5-inch depth, 11-inch height and 6-pound net weight. Allow room for the glass and your hand as well as the body dimensions. The motor-power copy is inconsistent: the page’s feature text says 70 W but its technical-information field says 80 W. The manual supplies no resolution, so this review leaves motor power unconfirmed rather than treating either number as an apples-to-apples performance measure.

The CJF11 body and base are listed as plastic. Its cone, strainer and spout are stainless steel; the lid and juice collector are Tritan Renew. SMEG says that material contains 50% certified recycled content through an ISCC-certified mass-balance allocation process. That is a material claim from the maker, not a laboratory assessment of the finished appliance. By comparison, the CJF01 page lists a die-cast-aluminum body and regular Tritan lid and collector. The published dimensions and weight are the same, so pick between them on documented construction, finish, care and price you actually find—not assumed extraction differences.

Care takes one extra step

The CJF11 manual identifies the cone, lid, strainer and juice collector as dishwasher-safe. It says the anti-drip spout can be detached and washed separately under running water; it does not list that separate part as dishwasher-approved. For a strict requirement that every removable juicing piece go through the dishwasher, the instructions do not confirm it. The motor body is wiped with a soft damp cloth and must not be immersed. Wash the parts promptly so pulp does not dry on the mesh, then refit the dust cover when the appliance is stored.

The manual warns against prolonged use because the motor can overheat. It gives no numeric continuous-run interval. If the motor-protection cutout is triggered, the troubleshooting section says to wait 15–20 minutes for cooling; that is a recovery instruction, not a routine run/rest schedule. The maker also does not publish a collector capacity or measured juice yield. If a specific batch volume or uninterrupted operating interval is essential, do not treat an unknown as a match.

CJF11 makes sense when the citrus-only pressure routine, the plastic-body/Tritan Renew construction and one of its seven colors suit you. Choose CJF01 if the documented die-cast body and matte or decorated finish matter more; consider a lever citrus press for a different pressing arrangement or a centrifugal/auger machine for varied produce. The two SMEG families are compact citrus appliances, not substitutes for a general-purpose juicer.
