Hurom H420 Easy Clean Slow Juicer review

A 150 W powered slow juicer with a maker-described two-part strainer-free auger chamber, batch-loading hopper, 45 mm opening and 450 ml internal chamber.

Sources checked 2026-10-24 · Our editorial approach

The U.S. H420 page lists 450 ml for its internal chamber and separately includes juice and pulp containers without publishing their capacities. It lists Grey/Green/Pink SKUs with an H70FW prefix; that SKU text is not evidence that H420 is H70FT.

A useful fit for

Consider the H420 if you want an auger-style household juicer with a batch-loading hopper, 45 mm opening and 450 ml internal chamber, and are willing to follow the care directions for the exact U.S. package.

The main tradeoff

The 450 ml figure is the internal chamber, not the included juice container; receiver capacities and numeric hopper volume are not listed. The page advertises up to 30 minutes continuously but does not specify a rest interval. The exact U.S. cleaning method, user-selectable speed controls and reverse/sensing modes are not established by the product page.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Do you want a powered auger juicer rather than a centrifugal spinning basket?

Hurom names the exact U.S. H420 an Easy Clean Slow Juicer and describes its two-part auger/chamber mechanism.

Is a maker-described strainer-free, two-part auger chamber the filter design you want?

The H420 U.S. page says the two auger pieces mesh with the chamber to strain juice; this does not promise a pulp level or remove the need to clean its pieces.

Will the listed 450 ml internal chamber meet your minimum chamber size, without treating it as a juice pitcher?

Hurom lists 450 ml (15.2 fl oz) for the chamber and separately lists a juice container without publishing its capacity.

Does the H420's 45 mm opening meet your minimum published chute width?

The exact page lists a 45 mm (1.8 in) hopper opening; this dimension is not a whole-produce promise.

Does the maker's up-to-30-minute continuous-use statement fit your minimum session interval?

The exact U.S. product detail states use up to 30 minutes continuously; it does not state the post-session rest interval there.

Hurom’s U.S. H420 Easy Clean Slow Juicer is a named current model, not an H70 variant in the ordinary product-page sense: the maker says it is “inspired by the H70,” gives it a distinct H420 listing, and offers Grey, Green and Pink finishes. It is an auger-style option with a batch-loading hopper and 450 ml internal chamber; Easy Clean does not mean dishwasher-safe or maintenance-free.

Read the H420 identity carefully

The exact U.S. page calls the machine H420 Easy Clean Slow Juicer and describes its design as inspired by H70. Its current color selections are Grey, Green and Pink. There is an oddity worth preserving when shopping for parts: the U.S. product-data endpoint assigns those choices SKU strings beginning H70FW (H70FW-BBC06SG, H70FW-BBC06FG and H70FW-BBC06DP), even though the product page title and its own feature copy say H420. Do not treat that prefix as proof the H420 is the H70FT sold on a different page. Use the H420 product listing and confirm the exact color/SKU with the seller or maker for replacements; the public evidence does not document cross-market part interchangeability.

Hurom calls the H420 slightly smaller than H400. Its listed body sequence is 174 × 216 × 436 mm (6.8 × 8.5 × 17.2 in), but the table does not label the axes. Measure the assembled machine, hopper clearance and containers rather than assigning width, depth and height by guesswork. Listed weight is 6.7 kg (14.8 lb).

Batch loading, but no published pitcher size

The H420’s maker-listed chamber capacity is 450 ml (15.2 fl oz). That is the working chamber inside the juicer, not the included juice container and not expected yield. The page lists both juice and pulp containers in the box but does not give either one a volume. If your essential requirement is a 32-ounce receiver, this listing does not establish that capacity; a photograph or an internal-chamber number cannot fill the gap.

Hurom describes a large self-feeding hopper and says the opening lets you add ingredients while the machine is running. The published hopper opening is 45 mm (1.8 inches), but the maker gives no numeric hopper volume. Treat it as a batch-friendly loading arrangement, not a promise that whole produce fits. Follow the included H420 manual’s preparation directions for seeds, pits and ingredient size, and keep loading within its marks. “Self-feeding” does not remove the need to prepare ingredients appropriately.

Easy Clean is a mechanism description

The exact page calls the chamber strainer-free and lists upper and lower auger pieces, a chamber, hopper, pusher, juice and pulp containers, power cord, brush, and a manual/recipe book. Hurom says the two auger sections mesh with the chamber to strain juice and that the parts detach for cleaning. This is a real difference from a conventional spinning-basket juicer’s separate fine mesh basket, but several food-contact pieces still have to be taken apart and cleaned. A promise of less scrubbing is not the same as no cleanup.

The maker describes the H420 as a slow juicer and gives a 60/70 RPM auger-speed range. That is not proof of a user-selectable two-speed control: the U.S. product page does not list control buttons or show a U.S. manual with those instructions. If you require a speed dial, automatic reverse, ingredient sensing or a named rinse program, the H420’s exact U.S. public listing does not confirm those functions. Similarly, its care instructions do not appear in the U.S. product detail. Do not count the H420 as dishwasher-compatible for an essential cleaning requirement until the instructions for the exact U.S. package establish which parts, rack position and heated-dry conditions are allowed.

What the published limits mean

Hurom lists 150 W, 120 V / 60 Hz, a 45 mm opening and standard use of up to 30 minutes continuously. The runtime statement supports a 30-minute documented-use threshold, not a claim that every recipe takes that long or that the motor should run beyond it. The current U.S. listing does not specify a rest interval after that limit, so do not infer one. The removable cord is listed at 1.4 m (4.6 ft).

The page advertises a 15-year motor-and-parts warranty. Read the written H420 terms for household use, seller eligibility, exclusions and registration before treating that headline as the coverage of a particular purchase. It is a maker warranty claim, not evidence of expected service life. Hurom’s low-pulp and quiet wording is likewise manufacturer description, not a measured sound, texture or yield comparison.

Choose by actual routine

Choose the H420 if a 450 ml working chamber, 45 mm opening, powered slow-juicing route and batch-style hopper fit your normal preparation. Compared with H70, the defensible published differences are its H420 identity, its design and its feature descriptions—not a larger chamber or a more powerful motor. Compared with H400, the H420’s chamber is 100 ml smaller; H400’s page lists a nesting pulp container and a 550 ml chamber. Neither model’s chamber figure tells you how large the included juice pitcher is.

For quicker extraction with a coarse basket, compare a centrifugal model instead; for dishwasher-only cleanup, a machine with a clearly documented dishwasher-safe removable set is a better fit. The H420 is a sensible candidate when the two-part auger design and batch loading appeal, but not when an undocumented control, container volume or care rule is an absolute requirement. The separate Korean H420 manual is not treated as the U.S. package manual or source of U.S. electrical specifications. Hurom does not state whether the saved image is a photograph or a render.
