Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you want an auger juicer rather than a centrifugal basket?
The exact H-101 Series household manual describes a powered screw/auger chamber, not a centrifugal basket.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a 500 ml internal chamber sufficient without treating it as a pitcher?
Hurom lists a 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) internal chamber and separate juice and pulp containers whose capacities are not published.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the exact H101 frozen-fruit setup essential?
The U.S. H101 package and H-101 Series manual document a separate ice-cream strainer for frozen fruit; use its preparation limits and never treat it as an ice crusher.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a conservative 1.95-inch published opening enough for your feed minimum?
Hurom lists a 50 mm hopper opening. It is normalized down from the rounded 2-inch display and does not promise whole-fruit feeding.
Explore this need in the finder →Can you use one extraction speed with separate extract, stop, and held-reverse controls?
The maker lists 43 rpm and the manual gives extract/stop/reverse dial positions; reverse is not a second extraction speed.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the complete removable juicing parts be dishwasher-safe?
No. The exact H101 manual says wash the chamber set under running water and not to place it in a dishwasher or dish dryer.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a 31-minute uninterrupted run essential?
No. The product page/manual establish a maximum of 30 minutes before stopping; the manual directs a five-minute stop after each 30-minute interval.

The Hurom H101 is worth considering for its exact combination of separate juice and smoothie strainers and an included frozen-fruit strainer—not because “Easy Clean” means dishwasher-safe. Its U.S. page was marked Sold Out when checked. The H101 suits a prepared, hand-washed household routine with a small internal chamber; it is a poor match if you require guaranteed stock, dishwasher care, a long unbroken session, or a verified two-inch feed opening.
Which exact H101 this review covers
Hurom's U.S. listing names the H101 Easy Clean Slow Juicer. Its product data maps one Silver configuration, model H-101-SBBA02, and marks it unavailable. The gallery also shows black imagery, but the current product data does not map that image to a second SKU, so I do not treat it as another verified finish or a separate package. The image shown here is the maker's exact Silver image; Hurom does not identify the image as a photograph or a render. The product listing remains live but said Sold Out on October 24, 2026; availability can change, and this review is not evidence that another seller has stock.
Plan around the strainer you will use
The U.S. package lists a black juice strainer, an orange smoothie strainer, and a separate ice-cream strainer. The H-101 Series household manual explains the routes rather than describing a universal screen: use the juice assembly for suitable everyday produce, the smoothie assembly for its permitted softer-fruit preparations, and the ice-cream assembly for the manual's frozen-fruit procedure. For the dessert route, the manual calls for small pieces of frozen fruit—about two centimeters—and does not license ice cubes, large hard blocks, or treating the juicer as a mincer. If that extra attachment will stay in a drawer, the H101's concrete package advantage may have little value to you. If it is essential, confirm that the exact attachment is present in any box you buy; do not assume that visually similar Hurom generations share parts.
This is a single-speed vertical auger, not a centrifugal basket. Hurom lists 150 W, 120 V / 60 Hz and 43 rpm. The dial's extraction, stop and held-reverse positions are not multiple juice speeds; reverse is a manual pressure-clearing direction, not automatic jam sensing. The 50 mm opening is shown as two inches, but 50 mm is less than two exact inches. For strict fit comparisons I use a conservative 1.95-inch value. Neither measurement promises whole produce: the manual still gives ingredient-specific preparation, and the supplied pusher is the intended tool. Treat “Easy Clean” as a product name, not proof that chopping, screen cleanup, or hand washing disappears.
Do not confuse chamber and container volume
Hurom lists a 500 ml (about 16.9 fl oz) internal chamber and supplies separate juice and pulp containers. Their capacities are not stated. The chamber is not a pitcher measurement, a batch hopper, or evidence of yield. The manual's instruction to open the juice cap when collected juice reaches 350 ml is an operating step, not a container-size claim. If a known receiver volume is essential, this documentation does not answer that need. The two ingredient openings likewise do not establish a self-feeding batch hopper or published hopper volume.
Use time and cleanup are real constraints
The U.S. product page says up to 30 minutes continuously. The exact manual says not more than 30 minutes, lists a rated operating hour of less than 30 minutes, and instructs the user to stop for five minutes after each 30-minute interval. Read that as a ceiling with a rest, not expected recipe time or production capacity. A questionnaire requiring 31 minutes without stopping should rule the H101 out; a shorter preparation-and-feed routine is a more natural fit.
After use, disassemble and wash the chamber assembly under running water, following the manual's care directions. The H101 manual expressly says not to place its parts in a dishwasher or dish dryer. Hurom's general FAQ says an auger may be dishwasher-safe on some models, but that broad answer does not override this exact manual. If dishwasher-safe removable parts are essential, do not count this model as a match. Rinse promptly rather than letting pulp dry, but do not mistake a quick rinse for complete cleaning.
What stays unresolved in the manufacturer record
The live page lists the body as 8.3 kg and gives 152 × 152 × 457.2 mm without named axes. Its linked manual instead lists 5.4 kg and labels W 213 × L 223 × H 454 mm. The product-data endpoint's 9,163 g is shipping weight, not a reconciliation. I leave hard weight and footprint matching unknown; measure the assembled unit if counter fit or lifting matters. The page summarizes a 10-year motor / 2-year other-parts warranty, while a generic warranty form in the manual states one year for local-authorized-distributor coverage. Confirm current U.S. terms, seller eligibility and SKU scope before relying on either summary.
Who should keep it on a shortlist?
The H101 is a defensible reference choice for someone comparing an existing machine or exact legacy offer, who wants its documented strainer pair and frozen-fruit attachment, accepts ingredient prep and hand cleaning, and does not need published receiver volume. Compare with the H-AA if its differently named fine/coarse screens matter; do not transfer parts or directions to the H101. The H70 has a different two-part auger, 450 ml chamber and smaller listed opening—not a simple “newer is better” upgrade. If immediate purchase matters, check current stock, the exact manual, vessel capacities, care instructions and warranty rather than shopping by family resemblance.
This is a source-based assessment, not a personal-use or bench-test report. It makes no claim about measured juice yield, pulp dryness, flavor, noise, durability, extraction time, or retailer inventory. A current-reference listing can still be useful for owners and comparison research, but it is not a promise of availability.
